MembershipsWe welcome you, or your history/archive organization, to join the Congress of History of San Diego and Imperial Counties, or to renew your membership.
...then the Congress of History is for YOU! By joining you may attend any or all of our meetings (usually held at a member-museum), vote on important issues, and receive our informative newsletter, Adelante, on a bi-monthly basis. If you are already a member, and are not sure if you need to renew, check your mailing label on the most recent edition of Adelante mailed to you. If the upper right area of the label lists the current year, or any future date), or "COMP", or "L" (Life Member), then you do not need to renew your membership at this time. If anything else is printed there, such as a past year or a date prior to this year, or "N", or "#", or "C" (Conference Attendee Only), then you (or your organization) need to renew or join now using our Membership Form. If you are an officer or representative of a member organization and it's time to renew, please contact your officers (especially your treasurer), give them our Membership Form and urge them to renew your group's membership immediately. We need and appreciate every membership we receive. Most of the money you send to us goes to printing and mailing the newsletter, Adelante. The remainder of the funds is added to the cost of attendance to pay for the Annual History Conference. We usually have just enough to continue our good works the next year. Thanks to all who will join, have already jointed, or have renewed. Both individuals and organizations may join the Congress of History using our Membership Form. Yearly memberships in the Congress of History are $12.00 for individuals and $12.00 for organizations. Individuals have one vote at meetings, and the designated representative of a member organization has one vote at meetings. |
